|july 29th. the weather is perfect, the camp is close to the beach. we have been fishing. it is hot enough to wear swimmers. we head off to rainbow beach to extend our permit. no dramas. the town centre has everything we need. the council has drinking water available just outside of town. good news we don't have to buy water. we went for a really long walk this morning. we are going to stay until sunday. bronson has settled in, he goes for a swim in the ocean. he is one happy dog. we have put the dog biscuits away, the bush turkeys have been eating them. bronson should know better, he drank a belly full of salt water and had sprinkler bum all day. john got up at 5am to go fishing because the tide was right. i had a lay in. i couldn't be bothered to get up. it is just so comfortable. i got john to put the ariel up agian, so i can catch with this travel site. i hope everyone who reads it likes it. i only thing i have to say about our camp is that you have love sand. it is everywhere but i don't care. it is worth it. well i'm off to take some photos of the barges and the beaches. i'm sitting under the annex typing, looking at the ocean.
john caught a flathead and a taylor. not bad. i'll have to try to better that.
loving at skips point. kath
