On Our Way To Nowhere travel blog

We left Maine and arrived in Moncton, New Brunswick today on our way to Prince Edward Island. Gene saw a list of events on the bulletin board in the RV Park office that showed the Moncton Community Band was having a concert in town tonight at the community park.

We threw our folding chairs in the car and left for our usual drive around town. After stopping for pizza and then ice cream we found the park and set up our lawn chairs with the locals. It was an interesting band made up of locals from the middle school kid to a 91 year old trombone player. The program ended with a 97 year old that has been in the band since the inception conducting the Canadian National Anthem.

This is just the sort of thing that we really enjoy. You just never know what you can find to do.
