Which Way Home??? travel blog

I always enjoy spending a few nights in La Esperanza, Intibucá. It´s only a two hour ride from my former Peace Corps site, Concepción, Intibucá and a 4hour ride from either Tegucigalpa or San Pedro Sula, the most prominent cities. La Esperanza has served for many years as a staging grounds for my Central American jaunts. It´s a wonderful place to get back into the swing of things so to speak. You know, the urinating in public, spitting and littering. It doesn´t take me long to feel right at home.

Today I´ve been walking around taking pictures of drunk people passed out in the streets and saying stupid things to people in English. It´s always fun posing with the models. I definitely have some great photos for the 2011 Bolo calendar. Off to Tegucigalpa in a few to visit my friend with no legs, Alma.
