|july 6th. we left archer creek and our plans were to go on to cairns but we were both over travelling. wve around kuranda trying to get a park at the markets. it was so busy, we gave up and decided to find a caravan park and stay the night and go to the markets the next day. we found a lovely rainforest park. the caretaker was friendly and let us have bronson in the park. the markets are only on until 2pm. i really wanted to go for a look. the market are good but they cater for the asians. we checked out the train and the sky walk and barron falls. it is a really pretty place. john needed to have a rest from driving. john wandered around with bronson while i had a look around. bronson received so many pats. people would come up to us and tell us about their dogs. a stall vendor even gave them som german sausage she had just cooked. bronson had a lovely day.
we gave up on going on to cairns and left it for tomorrow.
july 17th off to cairns. the road down the mountain made bronson slide all over the back. it really looked funny. we found rusty produce markets. the market had everything you could want. i loved it. the variety of fruit and veg was nothing look i had ever seen.
we went for a walk along the prominade. there isn't any surf and there is alot of mud. not as pretty as i thought it would be. had to find a wollies. havn't shopped for 2week and needed the basics. every woolies is the same. we are back at the van in kuranda kicking back with a beer. life is good.
