The Trip of 2010 travel blog

Two lane country road most of the way today

We drove the Historic Bluff County Scenic Byway - historic because it felt like the original wagon trail at times. Passed through Spring Grove, Minnesota - first Norwegian community in Minnesota. Also passed through Tilden, Wisconsin which is a half-way point between the Equator and the North Pole.

We arrived and checked into our RV park and shortly thereafter got a call from Pat that they were having dinner at the B&B Bar and Grill. Barb had seen this place on the way through town, so we said we'd be right over. Another loud meal with Pat and Dave, their granddaughter Sydney, and cousin Marlene.

Back to the lake house, where we sat out on the deck. As the temp dropped, sweaters, sweats, etc, were added by these "hardy" northern relatives. Barb was in heaven when it got down to 67 degrees but everyone else headed into the house. (I was afraid they were going to turn the heat on!!)
