Drive south from Salt Lake City

Along the hillside near the park

Peppy was pouting because he had to come in.

It was a short drive to Jordonelle State Park. The hillsides alternate between lush green and rock cliffs.

While driving around one day we got a glimpse of the deer, just downhill from a subdivision. It didn't seem to be too scared of us.

The weather has improved. We have finally been able to sit outside without coats. The wind across the lake is cool but not too bad. We have been able to grill a couple of steaks.
