Bath Exchange 2010 travel blog

I came down with a cold a few days ago and have been spending a good deal of my time sleeping and eating every different kind of soup I could find. (Carrot and Coriander is my favourite so far). So between having the plague and not wanting to re-see all the tourist stuff when Dad, Meghan and Gavin get here, I haven't seen anything crazy enough to make the cut onto this journal.

The craziest thing that's happened was a couple weeks ago actually when I tried to buy plastic cutlery at a convenience store and was ID`d because of the knives...PLASTIC CUTLERY!! England is nuts.

As it`s a Sunday right now I`d like to point out also that although the superabundance of churches and abbeys etc. adds to the Georgian aura of the city, oh man are they noisy. I think they`re trying to play specific songs right now, but I can`t hear any discernible tune...it`s just chiming pandemonium out there. I`m telling you, Jesus is not coming to Bath as a first stop on his second coming...no sir.

Anyways, this is going to be a short one but I`m going to look into getting a bath residency card which will let me into the Roman Baths for free among other things and then I can have an actual interesting topic to write about when I make my next entry.

Last thing: CANADA HAS MORE GOLD MEDALS THAN THE STATES!! We rule. Which is going to be evident when we knock the socks off of the USA men`s hockey team today for the gold!!!
