|In Mexico we stayed in a hotel with a pool and a nice restaurant. It was really hot so my brother and I swam every day. We also swam in the ocean and it was really warm - even warmer than the pool.
Our first adventure in Mexico was going snorkeling. On our way we saw two turtles mating, some dolphins, a manta ray that jumped out of the water and did a back flip, another manta ray that was about 8 feet across, and lots more turtles. When we were snorkeling we saw some needle fish that were about 3 feet long. We saw a blow fish and our guide picked it up and it puffed up it's cheeks and it was like a big ball. I got to hold the blow fish and it felt kink of prickly. On our way back from snorkeling we saw a face that was carved into the rock naturally. We also saw the Blow Hole, where the ocean water sprays out of a hole.
Our last adventure was river rafting. We saw a black iguana in a tree along the river. We also saw a bird called the Roseate Spoonbill. In Spanish it is called Espátula Rosada. There was a cameraman that took pictures of us while we went down the river. The rapids were not very scary but it was fun.
On our way home from Mexico we stopped at our cousin's house in California for 2 days. We got to go to a San Jose Sharks Hockey game and the Sharks beat the Buffalo Sabres 5 to 2. It was a great ending to our trip! I'm glad to be home and see my friends.
