Ron & Elena's 2007-2010 Travels travel blog

(Elena Writing) It was 34° this morning and there was ice on the back of the truck where the rain had frozen. Our furnace and catalytic heater have kept us nice and warm.

We attended Sunday School and worship service at the Davis Creek Church of the Nazarene, about a mile away from WMSC. The church is located down a steep drive so we decided to park our rig at the nearby elementary school parking lot. It was a nice short steep “hike”. The congregation was very friendly and they offered rides both ways but we declined since it was good exercise. We were blessed by the preacher’s message. It was very nice to see many young people and families at church; we don’t see that too often.

We spent the afternoon parked at a shopping center and I caught up on more reading at the Books A Million while Ron did computer work. We had some sunshine long enough to generate energy on our solar panel. Later we returned to Sam’s where we are again parked for the night. It is now 9:40 PM and 37°. Tomorrow should be another nice day in the mid-50’s.
