It is always bitter-sweet to leave Solon Springs, WI where we spend a good part of the summer with Rose's mother and family. On the day we left, the temps were in the upper 20s so it was time to get on the road again. We had one last traditional Sunday morning breakfasts with Bloody Marys at the Buckhorn Bar in Gordon. The deer had been eating the acorns in the yard and it seemed that more acorns than usual had fallen this fall. The flowers had been hit by frost so we mowed the garden. Before we left we winterized the RV water lines in the yard, took care of other last minute chores and said our good byes. Mom took us for breakfast at KD's before we left town.
