Enjoying Corn

Bo at the Corn Fest

Farmers Market at Capitol Sq

It was another cold morning, but the good thing is no rain. We went to the Farmers Market at the Capitol Building in the morning. There were vendors selling produce all around Capitol Square and it was really crowded with people buying. It took us about 2 to 3 hours to walk the whole thing. They have this Farmers Market every Saturday and Tuesday in the summer time. After leaving the Market we went to the Corn Festival in Sun Prairie. It was really crowded there too. Admission was only $1 per person. We each had one ear of steamed corn and sat on the side of the hill to eat it. They also sold the corn by the tote which was $6 for all you could get in the box. It was a really good deal for a family. Single ears of corn was $1.50 per ear. We then walked around looking at all the Arts and Crafts. Also, they had BINGO which we played, but didn’t win. They had a Midway, but of course that was not for us. The fest was held in Angell Park where they hold stock car races every Sunday night. We got back to the camper at 3:30pm after making a stop at Wal-Mart. I did laundry at the campground and we’re ready to move on tomorrow.
