Antigua and More:)

My time here is really winding down! i cant believe its been 5 months here! My spanish has improved so much and i feel like i'm gonna be going home accomplishing what i wanted.

Dermar came to visit from June 1st to 5th. We went straight to Antigua (The Old Capital), then to San Pedro and then to Xela where i live.

Right now i'm pretty much preparing to go home on the 14th July (officially 6 mths after my arrival). If i leave on this date i'll stop in florida 2 weeks before heading home :)

My birthday (July 9) will be spent on the Caribbean coast of Guatemala working with the project on Murals with kids and doing interviews for evaluations of the project. So i will pack and leave Xela from the 5th July and go to Aktenamit with the project until the 14th. Hope to get a chance to post an update by then.
