Kitching European Adventure 2009 travel blog

From Aberystwyth, we continued South through Wales to the Pembrokeshire region. This is where some relatives of Ryan and Joel live. On our way to meet the relatives, we stopped at a Place called Pembroke here we encounteted the first castle still relatively in tact that we could get inside and look at we spent a few hours looking around tbe castle and soaking in the history. The castle was built on a Large cave where ore-historic cave men used to live. Who's we were in the cave it was neat to imagine the cave men living right where we were standing! We then left Pembroke on our way to first a small community called Angle. The road leading up to the town was little more than 1 lane with tall grass on either. Side making it seem even smaller. There were many sharp corners as well. There were a number of times that we encountered oncoming traffic, but somehow we made it to Angle without incident. We met Roy and his wife who are cousins of R&J's. They were both very nice and they drove us around to different scenic spots, significant family locations and to the homes of other relatives homes. One of the spots he took us to was the coast which was very wild and breathtakingly beautiful. Unfortunitely the pictures don't do the area justice. We met Billie and Millie as well as Jim and Maere. Every one was very nice and welcomed us all with open arms. We took Roy and his wife out for dinner at an English pub where I had a great Welsh beer (Evan Evan's) and a Welsh stew that was very tasty.

At the end of the night we drove to another town called Tenby to spend the night. Tenby is a cute little coastal town. We left right away the next morning, so we didn't see too much of it. Our next destination is Bath.
