I forgot to mention yesterday all the windmills we saw in Minnesota I think! They had windfarms all over the place with huge windmills! Made a quick side trip thru Mitchell, SD to get gas and windshield wiper blades, and ran into a jackalope! So today's trip brought us through Chamberlain-Oacoma, where there was some big fake buffalos, Al's Oasis and Wild West trading post with 10 cent pop! Driving through the Badlands was great, very windy, but beautiful surroundings. Loved the prarie dog towns there, cute little guys. We also saw some pronghorn sheeps in the badlands. Outside the badlands loop was the town of Wall, with the famous Wall Drug store which we had been reading about since Wisconsin. Cute little tourist trap town! Also stopped in Sturgis to gas up and take a few pics. On our way into Buffalo, we took a last minute side trip to see Devil's Tower, and also a crap ton of deer on the way. Long, but eventfull day!
