We boarded the Navimag ferry at 9 p.m. on Saturday night. The ferry was not due to leave until 6 a.m. the following morning as it had to be loaded with cargo. We were then in a timewarp on the ferry for the next 3 or 4 days (hard to tell or remember). All meals together with wine were provided, our beds were made for us and even the toilets had toilet paper in them.
The whole experience on the ferry could have been squashed into one day as the scenery didn't change that much. We spent our time playing cards, chess, drinking dodgy wine / pisco sours, watching the odd film and nearly seeing whales. It was relaxing though, great for meeting other travellers and we did see a school of dolphins jumping through the waves.
