The drive through the Adirondacks was lovely. It was a new experience for us to see leaves on the trees changing this early in the year. We stopped at a rest area and took some photos of the leaves.
The campground we stayed at was right on Kayuta Lake, and our site was lovely (and dry). We had a morning or two when it was in the high 30's/low 40's overnight and Chris actually had to put jeans on first thing in the morning!
We spent our time in the local area, checking out restaurants, scenery, etc. The weather was great during our stay, and we were able to dry out. With the chill in the air, it is time to start our trek south for the winter. More later!
