July 7

Today we travelled to Baddeck which sits on the beautiful Bras d'or Lakes. It was a lazy afternoon so Ed got the oil changed and Echo got laundry done.

July 8,

This morning we toured the Cabot Trail where we saw a beautiful coastline and a village of 140 scarecrows. At Chitticamp there were houses painted many different bright colors. After Pleasant Bay the road was mostly trees and long steep hills and the road reminded us of the terrible NB roads. We were so glad that we didn't take our trailers! It was a long day - 9 hours of driving. The last two days have been very humid and hot about 33 degrees.
