Wales - Spring 2008 travel blog

We made our usual visit with Menna this morning and spent the time with her outside on the patio. It was a bright sunny day. In the afternoon we went to the Cilgerran Wildlife Centre, a Wales Wildlife facility built on the salt marsh which is part of the upper Tiefi River estuary. The walk took about two hours and led us right into the old bridge in Cardigan. There were numerous observation blinds, but the wildlife spotted was limited to a few geese, several swans and the ever-present gulls.

We went out for dinner with Jeanette and Colin at the Flat Rock restaurant in Gwbert, located on the cliff overlooking Cardigan Bay. We had a terrific meal along with a great view of the sunset, but we forgot to take any pictures.
