8 April.

Another domestic flight, this time to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) or Saigon. This is my last stop on my Vietnam trip. Arrived to Saigon at noon. Succeed to come through the airport procedure and got a taxi transport to central Saigon rather quick. Found a so so hotel in the backpacker area of Saigon.

9 April.

Organized tour for a visit to the Cu Chi tunnels outside Saigon. Cu Chi was a Viet Cong stronghold during the war. Despite heavy bombing, so could not the Americans never knock this place out.
