The entrance to Hoa Lo Prison Museum – Hanoi Hilton.

A heritage from the time then the French were in rule.

An American pilots equipment.

Prisoners clothes

29 March.

Took part of an organized city tour of Hanoi. It is amazing that a city of Hanoi’s size have so little and few things to see and do. The tour was so so interesting. I skipped the visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, because there was a one kilometer long queue. That’s why I also missed some other attractions close to the mausoleum. After the tour finished I continued exploring Hanoi by myself. I took a taxi to the Hoa Lo Prison Museum or the “Hanoi Hilton” as the Americans renamed the prison during the war.
