With one month of the trip gone a lot of things have already changed compared to what I originally thought our trip would entail. The surfing has been excellent the last 2 weeks with off shore winds holding the waves up a majority of the day instead of blowing them over. This makes for a steeper smoother ride and much more fun. Im back in surfer shape and my paddling and wave awareness and reading has come back to me which allows for a quicker decision making on waves selection and just makes surfing most rewarding.
A few things have changed, one we are heading up to Nicaragua next week to a town called San Juan Del Sur. With a stop at Witch's Rock, a remote but world famous surf spot that was first featured in the Endless Summer movies. It's in a National Park so we will have to camp and take a boat out to the spot to surf it, super excited about it. Nicaragua is cheaper than Costa Rica but not as safe but, we will use our best caution and stay out of trouble and concentrate on surfing. I love the adventure of exploring foreign coast lines and learning new things about yourself, the countries visited and life everyday. Take care for now, I'll write more later.
