Steve & Robin's trip to South Dakota 2007 travel blog

Monday: Traveled from West Branch, MI, to Porterfield, WI. We left Lake of the North about 0915, and arrived at Porterfield around 1645 EDT (1545 Central). We camped at the Diamond Lake Family Campground & Trout Farm. We wanted to add more state stickers to our map of states camped in; at this time of year, this was the nearest campground to the distance I wanted to travel for the day. It is an okay campground, but a bit out of the way (normally) for an overnight stay. The dogs are traveling fine! We bucked wind most of the day, but had no problems on the Mackinac Bridge. We traveled 353 miles today.
