What to do... but get wet!

I know it's been awhile since our last entry and update. We officially ended our trip when Rod landed a job in Tempe, AZ back in March. The last few months have been about New Beginnings. In July we moved out of the RV and into a townhome in East Mesa. On August 3rd, we became grandparents! Rod's daughter, Nikki gave birth to a beautiful boy named Samuel and all are doing well. Charlene went back to traditional school in mid August and is doing great. She really missed having the interaction with kids her age while we were traveling. Rod continues to enjoy his job as General Manager and is coming up on 6 months already. Wow, time sure passes quicker as we get older. I've gone back to work part-time doing bookkeeping and it's working out great. It's so nice to be home in the afternoon when Charlene gets out of school. We are adjusting to all the changes.....the two biggest issues for me have been the heat and more importantly, the distance from family and friends. I've made the drive back and forth to California twice now and it's a good 6-7 hours one way, but well worth it. We do miss are family and friends in California as well as all of those we visited along our trip.

We love keeping in touch with all of keep calling, e-mailing and come visit when you can and we will do the same!
