Travelin' with Sally & Gregg travel blog

written Mon afternoon 8/20 at 3pm ...expecting to arrive in Newfoundland about 10:30 pm Newfoundland time. It's a 6 hour trip, leaving at 4pm Nova Scotia Atlantic time zone time. Newfoundland time zone is 1/2 hour ahead - how weird! I didn't know you could do that with half hours! Our atomic clocks have been very confused... We will find our boondocking skills challenged tonight, arriving in the dark, the nearby provincial parks closed and the ferry lot not allowing overnighters. Ahh - the challenges of RV camping!

We are headed to Gros Morne National Park. We met a young boy back in Forillon National Park that had just been there with his Dad and he was awed by the spot where the Earth's core has broken through its crust. I want to see that! Look at pictures of this park at Visit Gros Morne. We may also take a boat trip out to see icebergs and whales. I feel just a little guilty saying that to my Arizona family and friends....wearing my socks and sweaters...and seeing all this rain. Just a little guilty...
