Torres del Paine with lake chilled champagne

Perito Moreno glaciar in Argentina, hours of fun with sweepstakes on the...

Five days in the far south of chile, viewing spectacular scenery and increasingly super glaciars by boat, bus and foot - although a little less of the latter.

Lots of animals to be seen: flamingos, guanacos, llamas, nandus, millions of penguins and even a pet football playing condor.

Felt slightly out of place, due to the large amount of backpackers with multi-pocketed trousers, goretex everything and shiny telescopic climbing poles, most of whom looked on with severe disapproval at the sight of James's cordoroy jacket, Celia's banana republic trainers, our large stash of emergency wine and our overall lack of traveller skills...

All feeling slightly knackered, sunburnt and windswept, but definitely worth the effort.
