End of the track, knackered but happy...!


The weather having beaten last time we were here this was our last chance to do a proper walk or 'tramp' as the kiwi's call it, in the Abel Tasman National Park so we were going come hail or shine. The amazing thing is that for 3 days the NZ weather finally redeemed itself and we had the most wonderful weather in possibly the most gorgeous of all the places we've seen so far on our travels.

We took a water taxi up to our start point of Totaranui, slung our big packs on our backs and set off for a tiring but brilliant walk. The park really does look like a tourist brochure come to life...
