April 27-30th ... Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, a city of approximately 1.5 million, has a good balance of everything you'd need. A bustling Chinatown, fantastic smells of Little India, skyscrapers in the business jungles and markets that sell "the not-so-real" Gucci bags, Rolex watches and designer sunglasses ... "Real cheap meeester!"

For a large city, it is surprisingly clean and easy to get around. Two LRT systems, a monorail, many busses and a rail line all sprawling out from the center ... and what's Vancouver got?

We have 3 days here to explore the sights and then take a bus to the Cameron Highlands for some hiking and a break from the heat. Weather has been hot (high 30s) and very humid (80-90%)

Hope everyone is enjoying the spring weather at home ...
