Mark's Trip 2007 travel blog

This morning we got the chance to visit a farm and sheer a sheep along with an all inclusive breakfast. This option with a free cooked breakfast for $10 was to good to turn down so most off us got up and went off to the farm to feed the sheep, watch the sheep dogs and try our hand at sheep shearing.

We then got on the bus and headed off to Bluff (home of the famous Oysters) and caught the ferry to Stewart Island.

When we had checked in a couple of us decided on going for a walk and most of the others joined us and we headed off to the viewpoint and then along the edge of the island to a memorial, before taking a shortcut accross a golf course and onto the lighthouse before heading back just before it got dark, about 4 hrs in total.

Tonight was leftovers from last nights meal re-heated with an extra jar of sauce along with cheese crakers and yet more red wine.
