|We rolled back into South Africa to a great little artists town called Clarens. It felt a little like Jackson Hole in the off season - very laid back and quiet with a little town square.
The next day I set off on a 2-day hike called the Ribbok Trail in Golden Gate National Park. I was the only one on the trail, and it was just a beautiful hike. Nick and Ronnie met me the next day and we headed to the Karma Lodge in Kestell.
Besides the $8 rack of ribs at the local pub, Kestell and the Karma Lodge were a great place to recharge after the hike - Vera Anne the proprietess made all kinds of homemade jams and we got to sample almost all!
