Started the day with looking around the Inca ruins above Cusco (Saqsaywaman). Tour of the Sacred Valley (near Cusco) and Pisco. Also visited ruins at Ollantay Tambo where we stayed overnight to be able to get to the start of the Inca Trail early the next morning.
Tried the local "corn beer" (mainly drunk by farmers), Chicha, which is only mildly alcoholic and an acquired taste.
Went for a group meal in the evening where the service was unbelievably slow and awful (they even brought in a microwave from outside to microwave pizzas in front of us)....and my chair collapsed under me - fortunately not when I was eating.
