Lady Di...on her state visit... travel blog

Au Revoir New Zealand - land of the long white cloud.

Photos can only do NZ so much, the landscape really is out of this world, it's so diverse; one minute you're looking at mountains, the next amzing lakes, hills etc, then beaches, then mud pools - it really is beautiful and for those who haven't yet seen it, it's a real must.

'Stray' has been amazing, met such wonderful people, especially Annalisa, Pete & Barry who I will definitely keep in touch with. But when I come back I'd probably get a car and do it myself. First time I've travelled like this and whilst it's easy, it's probably not the way i'd choose again. You lose too much independence but then you certainly never get lonely!

Highlight was travelling with Pete & Barry in the South Island, seeing Clare in Queenstown, and hanging out with my relatives in Blenheim, oh and definitely...Hot Water Beach, Huka Falls and the lookout towards Mount Cook.

Was so unlucky with the weather - so much that I wanted to do was cancelled - whale watching, skydive, Tongariro crossing, even at Milford Sound it rained so I couldn't see the real beauty...

Places I will definitely return to...Hot Water Beach (Hahei), Huka Falls (nr Taupo), Bay of Islands, Milford Sound and Taupo so I can do my skydive, and maybe Queenstown if I end up taking this job...!

So, it's au revoir NZ....hope to see you soon! Sweet as bro!

But for now, I'm ready for some R&R in Fiji after the hectic travelling in Kiwi land!...and a tan! x
