a J 24 on Lake George

Today we arrived at Lake George in the Adirondacks. Fortunately we have WiFi at this campground......because we have NO cell reception!! We do have satellite TV we are not all that bad off....except if someone wants to talk to us via cell phone.

We will stay here until Sunday morning (at least) depending on the weather and what we see and get done between now and then. Lake George is a destination resort for New Yorkers.....the scenery is beautiful, lots to do on the lake and in the surrounding areas. We will get to Lake Placid on Thursday and Fort Ticonderoga on Friday. This campgrounds has a creek running through it, maybe we can finally get to use our kayaks!!

Weather says rain on Thursday/Friday - clear on Saturday and more rain on Sunday/Monday. We'll see. We may stay an extra day or so, but we still have lots of ground to cover in the first two weeks of October. Got to get up to Vermont and Maine to see the change of leaves.

Tomorrow I should have lots of pictures from Lake Placid.
