Jonathan's world trip travel blog

A - the Germans are vary fond of their Leiderhosen

B - They drink quite a bit of beer

C - they handle it better then most of the drunk UK, Aussie's, Kiwi's and a few of us Yanks.

Ok so there is a bit more to it then just that. Walking in it's like a massive carnival with rides and huge tents (hhmmm Burning Man material?) which will hold the some 3 million (ah yea, yes that's a lot for just 2 weeks I think) people that come for the event. Leiderhosens and Drindles were everywhere and even if you didn't know where to go you could just follow the folks all the way to the event.

By the time we got there it was all about 3 or 4 o'clock in the afternoon and by the time I left (maybe about 4 or 5 hours later and yes I left before everyone else did) I had about 3 or so liters of beer, almost traded my tshirt with a kiwi for an All Blacks tshirt (NZ Rugby team), sang along with a german band, and been the proud recipient of a Boston Red Sox hat (which I am pretty sure will get me beat up the next time I go to NY) at this point I was pretty much wasted done drinking and calling home drunk.

Now after I left, more drinking occoured, nakedness seemed to of prevailed a bit, Kate throw up in the men's urinal and they were actually able to find their way home.

Not too bad for a late start and Wu actually had some beer.
