We didn't want to leave!
Before heading to Kuala Lumpur Aziz and Asiah showed us around Kuala Kangsar. This town is the Capital of the Perak province. We were shown the Royal Mosque, Palace and museum before having a look around the town centre.
The trip to Kuala Lumpur was by bus. As you are arriving you can see the Petronas Towers from miles away. On the way in we stopped at the complex where the Commonwealth Games were held in 1998 and saw the tennis and hockey stadiums.
From our hotel we can see the towers (just). In the evening we had a meal along the pavements of Chinatown, before going to 'The Beach Club' for a few drinks and a dance. The club was amazing with a laser show, and sharks in a tank above the bar. From the balcony there were great views of the towers changing colour. We got home at about 1.30.
