Today we leave the Central Krabi resort. I am pretty sure the woman in the Club Lounge is very sad as when we told her we were leaving she asked if we could come by for snacks before we got in the boat.
Speaking of the boat, we are moving around the corner of the cape today to a cute place with bungalows that straddles both East and West Railey. I was a bit leery at first as the woman who I called about our transfer to the hotel called for a car to pick us up at 12:00. It took several phone calls to get her to understand that a car would be rather difficult as there are NO ROADS either at this resort or theirs. At one point she did managed to let me know they have free parking. The cape has three main beaches: East Railey, which is horrible for swimming, West Railey, which is quite possible the best place in the world to watch a sunset and Prha Nang, which is quite possibly the most beautiful beach in the world.
Arrived at the hotel, by boat, at around 1:30, checked in and did our usual check out the room ritual. The bungalow is very cute with a nice comfy bed, small couch and a rather tiny bathroom. The grounds are spectacular and there is even a resident group of monkeys in the resort. It is closer to East Railey than West but it is still only a 5 min. walk between all the beaches. Once really nice touch was the plants in the room made out of sprout on old coconuts. Pics tomorrow.
Since it was still light out [no sunny but light], we walked down to Prha Nang to look out over the karsts sitting in a lounge chair, under an umbrella as it had started to pour. Later, we had few beers and some dinner at the resort [which was awful] and walked down the beach at East Railey as that is where the night life is and it was Saturday night. We hung out in a couple of funky bars and then called it a night, headed back to the bungalow and went to bed.
