2006-Allan and Joel's Excellent Adventure travel blog

Bahgdatis {mainly his girlfriend}

Today was a lot of fun. We started out a bit late but did make it out of the room by 12:l30 to have lunch with Antony. We went round to St. Kilda on the beach where the temperatures were much cooler than they had been for a refreshing change. We learned that Spaghetti Marinara comes chock full of shellfish and fish, as this is what Joel had ordered after both Antony and I assured him it did not [Antony was being sarcastic, I was not]. After a good laugh we ate and had some wine. Marco Baghdadis and his entourage showed up midway through lunch] he was the guy who beat Roddick the day before. His girlfriend is HOT. {Blond one on the right}

Made it back to room to sweat out some the alcohol I had consumed in the steam room and take a quick nap before running out to the night matches. Ran out to Nudel Bar for, you guessed it, Noodles. I had the cold chicken, coconut, chili and lime noodles. Quite tasty but not so good later. We watched Martina beat Sam Stosur [go Martina] and stayed around for most of the Federer/Haas match. We left because I was tired, it was obvious that Federer would win [dull] and Joel wanted to go out to a pub in St Kilda. I watched a bit more tennis on TV - Tommy was up two sets and I couldn't handle the stress so I went to bed. Joel apparently had a good time watching the match and chatting up some Swiss bloke
