Sand Dune surfing. That guy fell half way down and went slow,...

So this day trip was the best day I have had so far. We got up early and jumped on the bus, met a few people on the way. Our bus driver was such a character, I would love to try and explain but I could never do him justice. His name was Auto because he kind of looked and acted like Auto the bus driver from the Simpsons. He had the greatest laugh ever and a tone of stories to make the ride interesting. The Dunes were sooo much fun, except for the bare footed climb up the 80 meter high sand dunes, but the ride down made it worth it. I actually got up the guts to do the run and jump on to my board which makes you go way faster.

The drive along the Ninety Mile Beach was great, we actually got to swim in the water. Normally it is not allowed becuase the undertow is too strong, but we lucked out because that day it was safe. On the bus ride Auto gave comentary, played a lot of cool N.Z music and gave us a lot of history about New Zealand and the Maori people.

Walking up the hill at Cape Reinga to see where the two oceans met was really cool. I don't know if you could see in in those pics, but you could see a huge colour difference which made a big zig zag line acrross the water, it was a really amazing sight.

Thats all for now, hope you guys enjoy the pics.
