Where mangoes and bananas grow on trees |

G'day!
For those who don't know, my name is Thrudur, an Icelandic girl born in 1984. I was very young when I started to dream of traveling the world, though I never thought it'd go as far as it has. I've travelled a bit around my own country, Iceland, as well as been to Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, France, Spain, England, Czech Republic, Poland, Morocco, Thailand, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia and Peru - and in my next trip starting 4th September 2007 going to Peru, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia and Cuba!
I'm a Tourism & Languages graduate from FSu (South Iceland Secondary School) as well as have a diploma of ABTA Certificate in Travel: Tour Operator Level 2 and a PADI Advanced certificate.
My hobbies are, of course, traveling, but I also love photography in every sense of the word, hiking, horse riding, diving, snorkelling, play badminton or basketball or soccer or any sport for that matter (I suck at it, but it's fun!). I also love music, then especially South American rythms and rock.
I speak Icelandic, English, Spanish and some Danish and French, as well as understand some German and Portuguese, and know a few words in Japanese, Arabic, Thai, Quechua, Aymara, Polish and Reyesano.
