“Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It is already tomorrow in Australia.” (Charles M. Schulz)

Assalam 'alaikum (blessings upon you), hello, and g'day!

My father studied in the University of New South Wales in 1970s, and I remember learning how to knit, baking cakes, and making apple pie from his Australian friends when I was little.

Over 15 years later, I am now tracing his footsteps again in attempt to understand what's so little I know about him and my family.

Spending 18 months in Australia as a postgraduate student, I aim to be everything I was not before as the benchmark of my growing up.

Befriending my fellow international students and Australian people, backpacking across country, visiting Ayers Rock, aboard the infamous Ghan, and most of all living life to the fullest!

I welcome you, my dear readers to share my stories; my excitement, hopes, dreams, fears, and joys.

I am dear READERS,
You most obedient
humble Servant,
NURHIDAYATI ABD AZIZ
