The McKee's Great Adventure travel blog

Heard about this place from people camped next to us in Astoria. It's on the south east side of Portland, which is good to avoid the Portland traffic and also close the Columbia Gorge. Nice clean park with a lot of full timers, but with nice rigs and not much clutter. No fire pits. Nice clean pool, no hot tub. AT&T and Verizon both had about 2-3 bars, ok, but slow. Parks Internet was bad, not worth even trying. Our dish worked fine. They put us in spot 39, which is next to the main road for most the park to come and go, so we had a bit of traffic. A little noisy in the morning with the people living here going off to work. We are south of the airport and right under the airplane traffic. They are landing and not as noisy as taking off. The planes did not bother us while we slept. There are train tracks near hear and also did not bother us with the train noise. We took max to a good vet near to get him some happy pills. Camp world about 5 minutes away and Walmart, Arco gas, and grocery stores near. We would stay here again, but need to ask for a bigger spot. Had to park jeep on our patio.
