After Thursdays heavy rain it then became very windy on the Friday The wind was so strong it was unpleasent to be out in it so we had a quiet day in the coach.
Saturday saw us heading out to Loweswater to do another walk from our "1001 Great British Walks". The walk took us high on the fells above the lake giving not only great views of Loweswater but also Crummock Water. The other advantage of this walk was that we saw very few people considering it was a weekend.
The weather even held for us until we were on our way back to the coach after we stopped in Buttermere for a cream tea.
