The McKee's Great Adventure travel blog

Took a drive to Fort Stevens, lots of history. This fort was bombed by the Japanese in 1942, but we stood our grounds and protected our country. We also drove through the campground which was huge, but full. Mostly with fisherman and boats. School around here does not start until after Labor Day, so still busy. Sites are large enough for us and there are a lot of cool bike paths. We drove on the beach to the north tip of Oregon and saw the old ship wreck. Very nice area.
