We debated what we would do as the forecast was for heavy showers. In the end we decided we walk upto Latrigg behind Keswick. It started dry as we walked along the old rail line path out of Keswick. As we started to climb it began to rain .

The weather got worst but as we neared the summit the rain stopped for a short while and we got views down on Keswick and Derwent Water. The rain came in again as we made our way back down to Keswick.

By the time we got back to the car we were both soaked to the skin- but the view was worth it.

We saw later on the news that the storm had caused flashed flooding across the country.
