|Our last day at the Benson Bluegrass Festival and we're sorry to see it end. Three new groups today and a lot of Gospel music. The group Greenwood Sidee is made up of people who got their start in Jam Pack and they are great. The Desert Routes group was an older group and pretty sharp. The group I've labeled Benson Burners was a group of young people introduced to instruments this weekend at the "petting place" with some help from some of the performers. The same couple who makes Jam Pack possible spends their weekend with this group.
Just an unexpected WOW weekend for these Gypsy's.
We're spending one more night in Benson and heading back to Texas. Not yet sure of our route home, but it is going to be below the 6000' elevation so major changes from our original plans. Oh well, we get to see our special friend again and may even find some more crawfish. Home is still planned for mid June.
To those of you who drop us an occasional note, thanks. It's nice to know that you are still there.
