|Today was another of those special days that have frequently occurred on this trip, where we weren't supposed to be somewhere, but experienced something great because we were. The only reason we're in Benson is to find a lower altitude after the lung issues in Flagstaff. Since arriving we've visited Saguaro National Park on two occasions, spent some time underground in Queen Mine, and even visited Tombstone. Today we went to a Bluegrass Music Festival and we listened to some very talented and entertaining groups. We arrived when it started at 10:30 and stayed till 4:00. Those of you who know me know that sitting still and listening are not among my strengths, but I sat, listened quietly and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Linda thinks I may have missed some because of my hearing but I am absolutely certain that they played "Black Angus" while Linda heard "Black Eyed Susan".
We're going back tomorrow and probably Sunday. Linda can use the cultural experience.
Be advised that I am not responsible for the caption on the last pic, but Linda's always right.
