Su Family Trip to the Americas & Village travel blog

We take opportunity while walking the dog to visit different homes in...

Sometimes we would just sit at the marketsquare and do chores with...

When we walked to a hill overlooking the village, we would pray...

Much of our days here are filled with learning the Yi language and then visiting people using the little that we have learned. It felt a bit like our S. America trip except it's another new language.

Through our bold, and often comical mimmicking of the Yi language, we got to know many of the people here already in a very short time.

Some are better off, some still in quite run down condition. Many of the paths are muddy and hard to walk without a rain boot. As we visit them, we would remember them in our prayers.
