We had three days of heavy rain and by day three well over half of the campground was flooded. We were ok but we felt sorry for a number of fellow campers as not only were their awnings flooded but some of their campers/caravans were flooded. We also kept losing electricity and the water was off most of day.

Our second issue was that Heather’s Mum (90 years old) had fallen and was in hospital in England and although Heather’s sister was managing at the moment after discussion with her we decided we would start heading back to the UK. We wouldn’t rush but hoped to be back in the UK when Mum was discharged from hospital.
