We took a drive to Port Orford Head State park, I know, what a funny name. This is a place where an ocean rescue crew was housed and launched their rescue boats. The rescues were from 1934 to 1970. They have one of the 36 foot rescue boats on display. This is a neat place and a must to see. Lots of nice trails with breath taking view of the ocean, north and south.
