At the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur

Relaxing in the Orchid Garden

Mark and Alec looking for frogs

We arrived in Kuala Lumpur early afternoon where we would meet up with Kristen and Mark. As we were driving to the hostel Alec yells "Hey, isn't that Uncle Mark?" and sure enough there they were walking up the street to the hostel from lunch. After getting settled we walked around the city a bit before settling on some great Indian food in Little India.

The next day we sorted out our onward plans for Taman Negara, the oldest rainforest in the world. We spent the afternoon in Kuala LUmpur at the Lake Gardens visiting the National museum, planetarium and the orchid and hibiscus gardens. Tonight it's the Sunday Market, named as such because it only is open on Saturday nights, going into Sunday morning. We'll have dinner there and do a little more shopping to see what fun purchases Malaysia has to offer.
