catching the ferry to Ko Pha-Ngan

After a 5 hour bus ride and an hour and a half ferry, we arrived in the Gilf of Thailand on the island of Ko Samui. Still a bit under the weather from my stomach bug, I was hoping for a little more comfort than the other guesthouses. The place we stayed at was on the North East side of the island in Chawang, about 5 monutes walk from the beach. Holiday guesthouse was for sure an upgrade from our last stays! A tv, fridge, hot water(yes I have been taking cold showers the past few weeks) and they brought you breakfast to your room. Very clean, big and simple, and it also had a balcony. The bed was actually pretty comfy and the airconditioning put me right back to sllep! I hope to get my energy back soon so I can enjoy the island!

Didn't do too much on this island due to traveler's sickness, but I did see a couple cool viewpoints, hiked to a waterfall and hung out at Lamai Beach, which was a lot more tame than Chaweng.
